Vehicle into a Structure with a Gas Line Rupture in Brisbane.

On February 9, 2014, at 9:05 a.m., 4 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers and 1 Information Officer responded to a reported vehicle into a structure with a ruptured gas line.

Fire companies found a vehicle that had crashed in to a single family home at 310 Klamath St. in Brisbane, causing the home’s natural gas to break.  Police and fire crews immediately evacuated eight homes and cordoned off the area as well as shutting down vehicle access to the street.

Fire crews layed hose lines and monitored for environmental conditions and coordinated with PG&E to secure the leak. There were no injuries to civilians or fire personnel and the incident was mitigated in approximately two hours.
