Structure Fire in Pacifica

On September 21, 2015 at 9:28 a.m. 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a structure fire at 118 Eastridge Circle in the City of Pacifica.

The first arriving fire company reported smoke coming from the two-story, single family home. Firefighters entered the structure and found thick, black smoke on the second floor and flames coming from the front living room area of the home. Utilizing hose lines, firefighters were able contain the fire to this area.

Fire companies remained on scene for two hours checking for further extension of the fire and completing overhaul. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Fire Prevention Services Bureau of the North County Fire Authority.

The North County Fire Authority wants to remind everyone of the importance of installing and maintaining smoke detectors in the home.
