Structure Fire in Daly City

On October 11, 2019, at 10:23 p.m., 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a structure fire at 132 Oriente Street in the City of Daly City.

The first arriving fire company found smoke coming out of the front door of a two-story, single family home. Firefighters made entry and found smoke and flames coming from the kitchen. Using hose lines, firefighters were able to contain the fire to the kitchen and hallway, with smoke damage throughout the rest of the home.

Fire companies remained on scene for 2 hours checking for fire extension, and completing overhaul and mop up operations. Four residents were displaced by the fire and made their own housing arrangements. There were no injuries to any of the occupants or firefighters.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the North County Fire Prevention Services Division
