On July 30, 2017 at 8:10 a.m., 6 Fire Companies and 2 Chief Officers responded to a structure fire at 370 South Hill Blvd. in Daly City.
The first arriving fire company found heavy smoke emitting from 2 sides of the 2 story single family dwelling.Utilizing hose lines, the fire was attacked and knocked down in approximately 20 minutes. The fire was contained limiting damage to the kitchen and attic.
There were no injuries. Fire companies remained on scene for approximately 2 hours for salvage and overhaul.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the North County Fire Prevention Services Bureau.
The North County Fire Authority wants to remind everyone of the importance of installing and maintaining smoke detectors in their homes and businesses.
