On November 7, 2014 at 2:45 p.m., 6 Fire Companies, 3 Chief Officers,1 Fire Investigator and 1 Information Officer responded to a Structure Fire at 822 Skyline Drive in the City of Daly City.
The first arriving fire company found smoke and fire coming from the rear exterior of a two-story single family structure. Fire companies using hose lines, extinguished the flames and made forcible entry into the heavily secured home. It was determined after the search of the residence, that there was no one home at the time of the fire.
Fire Companies remained on scene for 90 minutes for overhaul and investigation. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the North County Fire Prevention Services Bureau.
The North County Fire Authority wants to remind everyone of the importance of installing and maintaining smoke detectors their homes.
