Structure Fire – City of Brisbane

On January 20, 2021, at 12:24 p.m., 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a structure fire at 3800 Bayshore Blvd. #26 in the City of Brisbane.

The first arriving fire company found heavy smoke and flames coming from the mobile home. Firefighters entered through the front door and utilizing fire hose lines aggressively attacked the flames, while simultaneously checking for any occupants.  All occupants were able to get out and away from the danger and the fire was confined to the mobile home with no other surrounding mobile homes receiving any damage.

Fire companies remained on the scene for almost two hours, checking for fire extension and completing salvage and overhaul operations. Two residents were displaced by the fire and received housing assistance through the American Red Cross.

There were no injuries to any of the occupants or firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Prevention Division.

The North County Fire Authority wants to remind everyone of the importance of installing and maintaining home smoke alarms.
