Single Alarm Structure Fire- Pacifica
On May 14, 2012 at 9:48 a.m., 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a structure fire located at 23 Eastridge Circle in Pacifica.
The first arriving fire company reported smoke showing from the two-story single family residence. Utilizing fire attack hose lines, the fire was extinguished, however the flames had extended into the home’s attic space. Fire companies remained on scene for approximately an hour and a half completing overhaul and there were no injuries to the residents or firefighters. The fire is under investigation by the Fire Prevention Services Bureau.
The North County Fire Authority wants to remind residents to never leave unattended food cooking on the stove top, as well as the importance of installing and maintaining smoke detectors in the home.
