On April 12, 2013 at 11:51 a.m., 6 Fire Companies, 3 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a report of structure fire at 788 Clarinada Avenue in Daly City.
The first arriving fire company reported smoke showing from the two-story single-family residence. Fire companies made entry into the home and using a hose line extinguished the fire, which was confined to the structure or origin. There were no injuries to the three residents inside the home at the time of the incident and fire personnel remained on scene for approximately an hour completing salvage and overhaul operations.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Fire Prevention Services Bureau. The North County Fire Authority wants to remind everyone of the importance of installing and maintaining smoke detectors in their home.
