On January 4, 2012 at 3:45 p.m., 4 Fire Companies and 2 Chief Officer responded to a report of a gas line rupture at 313 Philip Road in Daly City.
The first arriving fire company arrived at scene and reported a two-inch gas line leaking after being struck by a back-hoe. Fire companies evacuated eight units of a near-by apartment building and coordinated with PG&E to secure the leak. Once secured, residents were allowed back into their homes. There were no injuries involved and the incident was mitigated in approximately two hours.
