Cliff Rescue at Palisades Park in Daly City

On November 1, 2013 at 11:59 A.M. 3 Fire Companies, 1Technical Rescue Unit and 1 Chief Officer responded to a cliff rescue at Palisades Park in Daly City.

The first arriving fire company found two male youths trapped approximately 60 feet above the beach on a cliff side. Firefighters, utilizing a rope rescue system extricated the youths, who then were assessed by firefighter/paramedics for any medical conditions or injuries at the scene.  After evaluation by firefighter/paramedics it was determined there were no injuries or medical condition.

The youths were released to their parents, with the incident mitigated in approximately 2 hours.
