On November 03, 2018 at 5:21 a.m., 5 Fire Companies, 1 Chief Officer, and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a multiple vehicle fire at Alana Way at Beatty Road in the City of Brisbane.
The first arriving fire company found eight vehicles on fire in a vehicle storage lot. Due to the remote location of the lot, firefighters had to shuttle water to the location to extinguish the fire. Approximately 12 vehicles were involved with several others suffering heat damage.
Fire companies remained on scene for over 3 hours checking for fire extension, completing overhaul and mop up operations. There were no injuries to any of the firefighters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the North County Fire Prevention Services Bureau.
