On February 16, 2013 at 7:14 a.m., 10 Fire Companies, 1 Breathing Support Unit, 4 Chief Officers, and 1 Fire Investigator responded to multiple reports of a structure fire at 1050 Palmetto Avenue in Pacifica.
The first arriving fire company reported a working fire involving multiple vehicles and extending to an out-building. Using hose lines firefighters surrounded the vehicles and building involved and extinguished the fire, which was particularly challenging due to moderate off-shore winds in the area. Firefighters remained on scene for several hours completing extensive overhaul.
There were no injuries to fire personnel or civilians and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Prevention Bureau.
