On November 28, 2012 at 5:32 a.m., 6 Fire Companies, 3 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a report of structure fire at 1344 Peralta Road in Pacifica.
The first arriving fire company reported a working fire with power lines down in the area. Fire companies made entry into the home and using hose lines extinguished the fire, which was confined to a bedroom. There were no injuries involved either to the single resident inside the home at the time or fire personnel, and crews remained on scene for approximately two hours completing overhaul.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Fire Prevention Services Bureau. The North County Fire Authority wants to remind everyone of the importance of installing and maintaining smoke detectors in their home.
